Aeterna Noctis is one of the latest successes of the Spanish video game. The 2D metroidvania from Aeternum Game Studios, after its premiere last year at the hands of PlayStation Talents Alianzas, will now complete its commercial availability with a jump to stores made up of two editions. PlayStation has confirmed what these physical versions of the game will be like, their price and an approximate launch window to get hold of them. Reservations are now available.
What will the physical editions of Aeterna Noctis be like
Aeterna Noctis will have two editions in physical format, both for PS4 and PS5: standard edition and Chaos Edition (collector’s edition). Let’s stop for a moment in the latter, which is the one that stars in the main image of this news.
The Chaos Edition of the acclaimed title from Aeternum Game Studios will include the so-called Concert of the Night, a collection with the 12 pieces of music “that players can perform on the piano during the adventure through an intuitive minigame.”
Concert of the Night is extra content with a highly accentuated cultural component; that highlights the production values ??of the video game and its celebrated soundtrack, very surprising. In total, 12 unique piano versions in high quality, the MIDI files of these tracks and the musical score of each of them. The study defines it as the “golden brooch” of this Chaos Edition of Aeterna Noctis. The estimated date of availability is between spring and summer 2022.
Those who book the Chaos Edition will find a steelbook version (a metal box) exclusive to each platform, two stained glass postcards, the three-disc original soundtrack and a premium collector’s edition artbook of over 224 pages. All this content will come complicated in a collector’s edition box with high quality finishes.
