Chicken rice recipe EASY (and very rich) – Recipes for Kids

Today we explain how to make chicken and rice , a very simple and inexpensive dish with few ingredients , which will succeed in your home.

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 1 chicken breast or 2 boneless thighs and thighs
  • 400g of rice
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • a few sprigs of parsley
  • 2 tomatoes
  • Shall
  • 1 heaping teaspoon of turmeric
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • 1.5 l of chicken broth or water

How to make chicken rice

We saute the chicken

Put a little extra virgin olive oil in a paella pan or in a frying pan and sauté the chopped chicken

We incorporate a mixture that we make in the mortar with the garlic, parsley and salt, and let it cook a little. Add the crushed tomatoes.

We add the rice

We mix and incorporate the rice that we sauté for one or two minutes together with the turmeric that will color our rice.

We cook

Finally add 6 cups of water or if you have, chicken broth, and let cook over low heat for about 18 minutes. Let it rest for another two minutes with the fire off and serve.
