Next February 25 will be one of the most anticipated launches of recent years. After a long time, Elden Ring will hit stores to the great expectation of all players.
This is the new project from FromSoftware and Hidetaka Miyazaki, which will be available on PC, PlayStation and Xbox in a few weeks. The similarities with Dark Souls are very noticeable.
We already told you that the Dark Souls servers for PC have been inactive since the end of January, due to connection problems, irregular performance and other errors suspicious.
Bandai Namco and FromSoftware are investigating these issues, which have a lot to do with the security hole discovered in the Elden Ring network test. This has caused many aspects of the new RPG to be leaked on social media (be very careful).
As a result, the official Dark Souls Twitter account has announced that the servers will remain down until launch of Elden Ring, for technical reasons.
In the statement, Bandai Namco and FromSoftware report that all security measures are being implemented, in order to to close this data gap and ensure the proper functioning of the servers.

”During the time it takes to fix these issues, the Dark Souls PC servers will be down until the release of Elden Ring. We will do everything in our power to reactivate them as soon as possible”.
Likewise, they announce that they have already detected the problem and that they are solving it in these same moments. The servers will be active again from next February 25th.
Elden Ring impressions: we tried the new souls saga and the possibilities of its unique open world
Digging a little deeper into the topic, the security breach found in the Elden Ring beta set off all the alarms at FromSoftware. Upon investigation, it was discovered that this security issue is also present in Dark Souls, Dark Souls II, and Dark Souls III on PC.
Elden Ring will hit stores on next February 25, available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. Until then, all three Dark Souls servers and online features will be disabled on compatible.
