Destiny 2: The Witch Queen has been released and as well as adding a new story, raid, weapon type, you know, the usual stuff. There is also a big rearrangement for subclasses. Notably, Void 3.0 was released and all Void subclasses now have the Stasis treatment. In other words, skins, shards, and a lot more customization, all that jazz. However, if you’re here, you may be confused about the Titan Sentinel subclass in particular and wondering how to create the Ward of Dawn bubble in Destiny 2 as of Void 3.0. It is not set by default and can be a bit confusing to access. Here’s what you need to know.

How to use Ward of Dawn in Destiny 2 (Void 3.0)

Quick Access

  • How to use Ward of Dawn in Destiny 2 (Void 3.0)

So in the old days, the only way to use Ward of Dawn as a defender was to place your Sentinel on the top tree and then hold down on super toggle instead of just tapping on it to pop a Ward of Dawn bubble instead. from the usual Sentinel. armor. Obviously, since Void 3.0 removed the tree system, this is different now.

However, you don’t get Ward of Dawn by default now, sorry to say. You still have to choose between him or Sentinel Shield now. To change your super, go to your Void subclass on the character screen, then swipe right to see your currently active super. You will see that there are two options: Sentinel Shield or Ward of Dawn, choose the one you want.

This is a very important pick as their skins and shards often have perks that are more geared towards the Ward of Dawn or Sentinel Shield game. If you want our opinion, for solo play you’re probably better off with Sentinel Shield, but in group play you may find Ward of Dawn better.

That’s everything you need to know for how to use Ward of Dawn in Destiny 2 as of the Void 3.0 subclass update in The Witch Queen and Season of the Risen. For more tips, tricks, and answers to frequently asked questions, check out our helpful Destiny 2 Year 5 wiki guide.
