At the time of writing, there are 14 Origin Traits in total in Witch Queen and Bungie plans to release three new ones for each season after Season 16. This means one for Season 17, one for the raid or dungeon, and then one more for the season. event.
This may be Bungie’s way of getting players to trade in their old favorite weapons for newer weapons as an alternative to older options. The new options could simply become more attractive without removing the old ones.
