No, there is no New Game Plus mode in Horizon Forbidden West. Once you complete the game for the first time, your only option to play it again on a higher difficulty is to start over and manually select a more difficult mode (if applicable). Of course, you won’t be wearing your gear from the previous game.
This may come as a disappointment to those who enjoyed the mode after having played the original game, but it’s worth noting that Horizon Zero Dawn didn’t actually have New Game Plus at launch. Instead, it was added to the game as post-launch support in the form of an update. There’s every reason to believe that developer Guerrilla Games will do the same with Forbidden West, so fear not: play the game at launch, and then you shouldn’t have to wait too long until a new patch is released and the mode is live.
