We are experiencing a growing dynamic in the world of streaming, there are more and more platforms available and these shoot more and more series and movies. One of those that has not yet arrived in Spain is Paramount+, a service from the well-known production company that has invested great efforts in adapting Halo to a series.
Paramount+ isn’t starting from scratch and is already stealing shows from Netflix. Among the own content that it announces, the Halo series is a great claim that will become a reality for subscribers of the platform on March 24.
A few weeks ago we learned about the trailer of the series that in general has been liked by those who have enjoyed this saga of video games, one of the most famous for more than 20 years.
The confirmation of a second season a month before the first one is released is not usual, or at least less and less. Now the normal thing is that the platforms announce renewals and cancellations shortly after being released. But they are sure that this will work.
“This second season reflects how confident we are in the power of this epic series to engage viewers. Halo has been a great collaboration with Amblin and 343 Industries, and we are all grateful for the opportunity to continue,” explained David Nevins, CEO of Showtime Networks.

It is clear that surely the series will not be a great failure, or it would hamper the expansion of a platform that is growing significantly, but that needs its own content to create an identity that subscribers understand and want >.
Yesterday it was announced that Netflix is ??going to shoot a BioShock movie, another proof that the world of video games is a source of ideas for this industry. Now it remains to be seen if the Halo series can be seen in Spain before Paramount+ arrives and on what platform.
