Realme has just confirmed that it will bring the GT2 series to MWC Barcelona. In this way, the realme GT2 and realme GT2 Pro will make their international debut on February 28, when the phones were announced for the Chinese market back in the distant month of January.
For those who do not remember the announcement, the realme GT2 will have a 6.62-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and, as for its SoC, the chosen chip is Qualcomm’s powerful top of the range for 2021: Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset.
This processor remains one of the best on the market, both for computing power and efficiency , ensuring plenty of power for users looking for a mobile that can handle any task. It is compatible with 5G networks and its GPU is up to the task of any game.
As for the realme GT2 Pro, it brings a larger 6.7-inch AMOLED LTPO2 panel with QHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Although we are facing very similar numbers to the from the little brother, it is in the processor where they differ.
The realme GT 2 Pro carries Qualcomm’s new flagship chip, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, which we talked about at length a few months ago when we were invited to its presentation on the other side of the Atlantic.
Two of the GT2 Series colors also come with a specially developed bio-based polymer backing material that mimics the feel of paper.
Price and availability are the only question marks left for the global announcement of the Realme GT2 series. We will be very attentive to its launch, with its price in euros for the market in Spain. We will update as soon as we have this latest data.
