Loki season 2 will start filming this year, according to Owen Wilson

The Marvel Cinematic Universe already has an interesting number of series to its credit that, throughout 2021, have helped build its phase 4.

Of all of them, Loki is possibly the one that more impact has had in the UCM today. Tom Hiddleston’s God of Deception variant escape from Avengers Endgame ended up in the clutches of the Temporal Variation Agency (AVT).

The place Before erasing him from existence, the agency “voluntarily” recruits Loki to help them hunt down other of his variants, especially one known as Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino).

To keep Loki under control, the AVT has Mobius M. Mobius, an agent who will teach Tom Hiddleston’s character the ins and outs of space-time and the Sacred Line of Time that manages and supervises the agency.

All this, of course, is the premise. Things will get out of hand throughout the six episodes of the first season, as Loki unravels the truth after all the events in which he is involved.

The series ended confirming that it would be one of the Marvel Studios programs that would have a second season, and it seems that it will start filming this 2022.

Answering questions on Wired, Owen Wilson, the actor who plays Mobius M. Mobius, has confirmed that “they will start shooting soon.”

I think we’re going to start shooting very soon. I really enjoyed my time filming the first season, with Tom Hiddleston and the rest of the crew“.

Some information suggested that season 2 of Loki would start filming in the summer in the UK, which suggests that it could arrive on Disney Plus sometime in 2023, presumably in the middle or end of next year.

What do you expect from Loki season 2? Will it be as important as the first season was?
