Lost Ark Error 10027: What It Means and How to Fix It

With Lost Ark finally coming to the West after a couple of years of exclusivity in South Korea, the MMORPG has skyrocketed in popularity. With this, players have been facing a number of issues while trying to play the game, namely the Lost Ark Error 10027.

This error is not unusual, especially if you are playing on any of the EU servers. Because Lost Ark requires players to stay connected to its servers at all times, facing this bug can prevent you from playing the game, which has caused the game to suffer a ton of negative user reviews on Steam. While it’s not the only reason for the negative reviews, it doesn’t seem to be helping the game’s reception among gamers.

Lost Ark error 10027 explained

The error code is accompanied by the following text:

“Cannot connect to server due to heavy traffic.”

This has been particularly problematic on EU servers, where players have found themselves queuing in the tens of thousands trying to log in to start playing.

Error 10027 therefore occurs when the queue to login to your server is full, so they just reject you.

In short, it’s not you, it’s the Lost Ark servers that are to blame for the problem.

Fixing error 10027

Since this is an issue with just busy servers, there is nothing you can do to “fix” the 10027 error. Instead, you simply need to be patient and wait in the queue until you finally log in.

The good news is that developer Smilegate and Amazon Publishing have been hard at work resolving Lost Ark’s server issues, and have just completed maintenance aimed at providing “additional stability improvements for core EU servers” , which have been some of the hardest hit. .

Maintenance has been completed and the servers are back online. Thank you for your patience. https://t.co/ZxqS7K5vxq

This isn’t a guarantee that you’ll never see error 10027 on Lost Ark again, especially if you’re playing on non-EU servers, but with any luck, things should start to improve sooner rather than later.
