The negotiation consists of 10.8 million biologicals whose first delivery (one million ) will be carried out in the first quarter of the year, 6 million doses during the second
quarter and 3.8 million doses during the third quarter.

In the midst of the negotiation, Román Saglio, Senior Director of Commercial Alliances for Moderna in Latin America, added that Colombia was the first country in the region with which an agreement was reached for the distribution of vaccines from the Moderna laboratory , which is about to celebrate its first anniversary.
Thus, as of February 6, a total of 73,325,312 doses have been applied in the country, of which 34,752,460 correspond to first dose. In this sense, 32,248,330 Colombians have the complete vaccination schedule against covid-19 and more than six million have booster doses.

Ruiz Gómez pointed out that Colombia probably has the most diverse portfolio of vaccines in the region, with 105,203,700 vaccines purchased, of which 67,804,020 correspond to the bilateral mechanism, 20,000,000 to the Covax multilateral mechanism and 17,673,000 doses to donations.
