With a somewhat silent launch, MSI has just announced the launch of a new gaming mouse, the Clutch GM41 Lightweight V2, an updated version of its homonymous model that will come equipped with a new optical sensor PixArt PMW-3389, increasing its maximum resolution up to 16,000 DPI, with an improvement in the capture of movements with accelerations of up to 50G and with a sampling rate of 400 IPS. All this while maintaining its main claim:an ultralight weight.
MSI has chosen to maintain a design and functionality practically identical to that of the original model, with a simple, small but functional ambidextrous format, with a weight without cable that barely reaches 65 grams. In fact, its two-meter cable is made of a lightweight, low-friction FiXionFree mesh to facilitate movement and make the most of its lightweight concept.
Thus, the design that is completed with a total of up to 6 programmable buttons, with main switches configured on OMRON mechanical switches, with a useful life of at least 60 million clicks before presenting any performance problems. In addition, within the gaming line, of course, the presence of a small RGB touch could not be missing, in this case with the presence of the brand’s illuminated logo on the surface of the palm.
And it is that as we said, the main novelty lies in the inclusion of the PMW-3389 sensor before the PAW-3370, now adding the ability to detect 400 inches per second of speed, and a sampling rate of 1000 HZ or 1 millisecond, perfect for meeting the needs of gamers.
Currently already registered on the official website of the brand, and although for the moment the company did not want to comment on the price, it is expected that the MSI Clutch GM41 LightWeight V2 will be available in the coming days, with a very similar economic price to the previous version, estimating a price of 49.99 euros.
