The Oppo Find X5 family will be presented on February 24, that is, within seven days. Luckily, that does not prevent us from already knowing everything that they carry inside, thanks to the specification sheet that has been leaked on TENAA. Let’s see them.
The first thing we have to leave is that Oppo is going to launch two models of the family. The regular Find X5 and the Find X5 Pro, each with their own features. Obviously, the Pro model is the one that gets all the flashes.
The leak reconfirms what we already knew, that the Oppo Find X5 Pro will arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, while the normal variant leans towards the new Mediatek processors.
Rumors point to a Dimensity 9000 chip for the regular Find X5, but the 2.842 GHz CPU speed reported by TENAA makes us think more of the Snapdragon 888+, which is the top of the range for 2021.
This time the phones will be a different size, unlike the Find X3 and Find X3 Pro predecessors. The Find X5 Pro will have a slightly larger screen: a 6.7-inch AMOLED with 1440px resolution .
The battery capacity is listed as 2,440 mAh, but since they specify that it will carry two cells, we can say that it will have a total capacity of 4,880 mAh of nominal charge, which means a typical battery capacity of 5,000 mAh.
OnePlus finally maintains its software strategy differentiating itself from Oppo by announcing OxygenOS 13
Find X5 phones will have three cameras on the back: two 50 Mpx and one 13 Mpx, while the front one will have a 32 Mpx sensor. The company has already confirmed that it will collaborate with Hasselblad to fine-tune the cameras.
The Swedish camera company is already associated with OnePlus, which as you know is Oppo’s sister company with which they share an interface users, manufacturing and assembly lines, and distribution channels in China.
