Play without spending a euro? FREE PS4, PS5, Xbox, Switch and PC games to play this weekend

February is halfway through, and we’re still reeling from the excitement of the last Nintendo Direct. Oh, and remember that this month there are great games like Horizon Forbidden West or Elden Ring… almost nothing.

However, you maynot have any cash in your wallet, so we have the solution. Do you like to play a lot? Well, you won’t have to pay anything to rock these games on your PC or console.

We start with strong emotions: Riders Republic, the frenetic sports title from Ubisoft, has available a Free trial until next Monday 14. You can play it on PlayStation (PS5 and PS4) and Xbox (Series X|S and One).

If you like driving but prefer the Mad Max-type setting, we encourage you to try Crossout. This free to play game released its PS5 version this week (it’s also on Xbox and PC), and it’ll win you over with its deadly chases.

If you like to play games on PC, one of the best options is the Epic Games Store. Epic’s digital store is giving away $10 coupons to spend in their store, packed with great deals…and free games.

This week, after Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair, you can download for FREE Windbound. This adventure and survival title (much like Breath of the Wild) starring the warrior Kara will be your best companion this weekend.

If you are not convinced, in the Epic Store you can download many other titles such as Rocket League, Genshin Impact or several Riot games (Valorant, League of Legends >), among other PC games.

  • Windbound on the Epic Store
  • Rocket League on the Epic Store
  • Genshin Impact on the Epic Store

A highly recommended alternative is Steam, Valve’s platform. You will find many attractive offers, free to play games and demos. Remember that Steam Deck orders will be shipped soon.

What can we find on Steam? Well, authentic free games like PUBG Battlegrounds, Star Wars The Old Republic or the Halo Infinite multiplayer. Plus Valve classics like Dota 2 and Counter-Strike.

The best Steam games you can play even on the oldest PCs with few resources

  • PUBG Battlegrounds on Steam
  • Halo Infinite on Steam
  • Dota 2 on Steam
  • Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on Steam
  • Lost Ark on Steam
  • Apex Legends on Steam

If you have a PlayStation, the first thing we recommend is to try the free titles from PS Plus February 2022, which are the following: EA Sports UFC 4 (PS4), Tiny Tina Storms the Dragon’s Dungeon: A Unique Adventure (PS4) and Planet Coaster (PS5).

Another option is to subscribe to PS Now and enjoy its new titles for PS4 and PS4. For example, GTA Vice City Definitive Edition or Little Big Workshop, among many others.

Don’t overlook the PS Plus Collection either for PS5. It’s packed with gems from the PlayStation 4 catalogue, such as Fallout 4, Resident Evil 7, God of War or even Bloodborne.

Alternatively, you can download free games from the PS Store. We recommend trying Crossout, Enlisted, eFootball 2022, Fortnite Chapter 3, Mega Zombie, Destiny 2, The Matrix Awakens or Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel.

Do you have an Xbox? If so, we recommend you try the free titles of Games with Gold February 2022. In the first fortnight, they are the following: Broken Sword 5 Curse of the Serpent ( One) and Hydrophobia (Xbox 360).

Don’t forget that a new Xbox exclusive is now available on Game Pass. We’re talking about CrossFire X, a multiplayer shooter with individual payment modes, which will hook you from minute one.

Subscribing to Xbox Game Pass is always a good choice. In addition to the aforementioned CrossFire X, you can play Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Rainbow Six Extraction, Ark Survival Evolved or Halo Infinite, among others.

Finally, from the Microsoft Store you can download many free games for Xbox. For example, the multiplayer of Halo Infinite, COD Warzone, Asphalt 9 Legends, Super Animal Royale, Too Human or Inops.

If you have a Nintendo Switch, the first thing we recommend is to try the demo of Triangle Strategy, Square Enix’s new RPG. A free demo with the first three chapters is available on the eShop.

In addition, two new games have been added to Switch Online in the last few hours. We’re talking about Earthbound and its sequel, authentic NES and SNES classics that you can now enjoy on Switch.

If you’re subscribed to Switch Online, you can also play great classics such as Mario 64, Shinobi III, Sonic 2, Ocarina of Time, Mario Bros 3 or Super Metroid… without forgetting Tetris 99 or Pac -Man 99.

Want more? Well from the Nintendo eShop you can download free games such as Pokémon Unite, Sky: Children of the Light, Knockout City, Ninjala, The Elder Scrolls Blades, Super Kirby Clash or Pokémon Café Remix, among others.

As you can see, this weekend from February 11 to 13 there is a lot to play… and NOTHING to pay. Play these free games on your PC, PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch and have a lovely Valentine’s Eve.
