Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Glistening Pearl and Pokémon Arceus Legends are two radically different projects that have been launched almost at the same time and have been a great success for Nintendo.
Some very traditional remakes and a game that breaks with the usual formula of the saga do not seem to be too related, but a dataminer has found a file that has left many doubts and questions among fans. Pokemon Legends Arceus: How to Evolve Mantyke and Mantine.
As many of you know, the connection between these two installments is their setting in the Sinnoh region (known as Hisui in Arceus). However, we could have more links between these two adventures.
A dataminer has managed to access the files of the open world game and has discovered what is called “strange pokeball”. Here you can see the clip in which the object is shown:
This could be material discarded from the game, but the most curious thing is that that same pokéball has also been seen in the files of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shiny Pearl. What could this particular coincidence mean?
Many fans have begun to speculate about the presence of this object in remakes and new installments of the saga. Is it a pokéball that allows you to trade pokémon between these two games, even if they are located at different times?
Others think that these “strange Pokéballs” are a code name for material of both games that has not been revealed at the moment. Either way, nothing can be ruled out, but neither can be confirmed, as this is not from an official source.

A possible incorporation of content has also been discussed for some time. The first Arceus Pokémon Legends DLC is coming in April, according to early rumors. Are you hoping the game will receive anything special?
In the meantime, both installments are still selling for a tube. Brilliant Diamond and Gleaming Pearl have been the second in the ranking of games sold in 2021 within Japan and Arceus already exceeds six million copies worldwide.
