The Pokémon GO Johto Tour is about to begin. Trainers from all over the world will be able to enjoy this massive community event dedicated to Generation II this Saturday in the same spirit as last year with the Pokémon GO Kanto Tour, only this time aimed at the mythical second generation, that of Chicorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Ho-Oh, Lugia, Celebi and company. We tell you when it is, how much the ticket costs, all the characteristics of the event and the differences between the Gold Edition and the Silver Edition.
Date, time and features of Pokémon GO Tour: Johto
The Pokémon GO Tour: Johto is held this Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (local time), just one day before Pokémon Day, where we will have a 14-minute Pokémon Presents with news about the future of the saga. These are the event bonuses for buying the ticket:
- All Pokémon in Johto will appear in the wild, in raids, and in post-research encounters. They will all be available in their Shiny version, Unown included.
- All Pokémon in Johto will be attracted to Incense, will appear by hatching Eggs, can be traded with friends, and can be obtained through the evolution process during for the duration of the event.
- Special investigation exclusive to the event that will lead us to an encounter with Celebi, the Mythical Pokémon.
- When we complete it, we will access a second exclusive investigation story masterclass “that will take a long time to complete and will test your skills as Trainers”.
- There will be 1 free bundle with 3 Remote Raid Passes available in the in-game Store.
- Eggs will only need a quarter of the usual distance to hatch.
- Double Candy when hatching Eggs.
- We’ll get more Candy by catching Featured Johto Pokémon.
- Exclusive event badge for participating.
- Up to nine Raid passes by spinning Photo Discs in Gyms.
Ticket price: Gold Edition or Silver Edition
Pokémon GO Johto Tour tickets are available for purchase from the in-game Store at a price of 11.99 dollars / 12.99 euros in Spain. We cannot change the Edition once we have chosen one of the two.
Pokémon exclusive to the Gold Edition and Silver Edition: differences
- Pokémon exclusive to the Gold Edition: Spinarak, Gligar, Teddiursa and Mantine will be attracted by Incense. We will be more likely to meet these Pokémon in their shiny version: Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Spinarak, Igglybuff, Natu, Hoppip, Sunkern, Misdreavus, Wobbuffet, Gligar, Shuckle, Teddiursa, Swinub, Mantine and Ho-Oh.
- Silver Edition exclusive Pokémon: Ledyba, Delibird, Skarmory and Phanpy will be attracted by Incense. We will be more likely to meet these Pokémon in their shiny version: Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Ledyba, Cleffa, Sudowoodo, Hoppip, Yanma, Pineco, Delibird, Skarmory, Houndour, Phanpy, Miltank, Larvitar and Lugia.
