The Pokémon GO Johto Tour is getting closer. This Saturday the Generation II Tour will be held, one day before Pokémon Day. Just like last year, players who purchase a ticket will be able to access exclusive Pokémon. However, in this article we are going to tell you about the differences between the Gold Edition and the Silver Edition as well as the price, the date of celebration and the exclusive events of the event. When is the Pokémon GO Johto Tour?
The Pokémon GO Johto Tour is held this Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 09:00 to 21:00 local time. A total of twelve hours where we can participate in a multitude of activities, research tasks, and raids focused mainly on the Johto region. Apart from the free experience, which all players can participate in without paying anything, there will also be a ticketed experience with additional benefits and content.
Pokemon GO Johto Tour price, how much does it cost?
The Pokémon GO Johto Tour tickets are not free: they are priced at 12.99 euros (or equivalent) and allow us to buy the Gold Edition or the Silver Edition, each with exclusive benefits. To buy the ticket, just open Pokémon GO, go to the store and pay the 12.99 euros it costs ($11.99 plus taxes in countries with this currency).
These are the Pokémon that we can get in each of the editions, Gold or Silver. We can only choose one. As you can see, aside from the starters (Totodile, Cyndaquil and Chicorita), the rest are exclusive to each Edition.

Red Gyarados and Celebi, Event Exclusive Encounters
In addition to the above, the Pokémon GO Johto Tour will have an exclusive event investigation culminating in an encounter with Shiny Gyarados (Red Gyarados) and Celebi, the Mythical Pokémon from Generation II. All Celebi caught during the event will know the Magic Blade fast attack.
