This week The Boba Fett Book ended, and 2022 looks set to be intense for new Star Wars series.
Obi-Wan Kenobi is coming to Disney Plus on May 25, and it’s expected that this year we also have the Andor series, with Diego Luna reprising the role of Cassian Andor (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story).
Ahsoka Tano was a controversial character in her day, taking a while to settle into Star Wars fandom, but she became one of the most beloved characters in the saga in her own right in The Clone Wars .
Her return in Star Wars Rebels and, later, in The Mandalorian, played by Rosario Dawson, was very well received by fans, laying the foundation for the series that Lucasfilm confirmed at the end of 2020.
A priori, Ahsoka’s series will follow the premise established by The Mandalorian, with her searching for Grand Admiral Thrawn, one of the s great villains of Star Wars.

The series has already cast Natasha Liu Bordizzo to play Sabine Wren, in addition to Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker in, at least one episode.
Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Ivanna Sakhno also joined the cast of the Star Wars series in unknown roles, the same case we have with Ray Stevenson (Thor, Vikings), who has just been announced as one of the villains.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Stevenson would play one of the series’ villains, an admiral, though not Thrawn.
It has been suggested that he could be Brendol Hux, father of General Hux (Domnahall Gleeson) from the sequel trilogy and a key player in the creation of the First Order.
In any case, as we say, there is no confirmation of what role Ray Stevenson will play. What is clear is that he will not return to embody Gar Saxon, the character he gave voice to in The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels .
