The 94th edition of the Oscars will take place on March 27, 2022, the event organized by the Film Academy where the work of all those involved in the world of cinema is valued during in recent months.

Just yesterday the complete list of nominees for the Oscars 2022 was released, where many fans were surprised not to find Spider-Man: No Way Home among the nominees for Best Picture (especially considering that Black Panther was nominated in that category).

In a recent interview for The Hollywood Reporter, Andrew Garfield, who is nominated for Best Actor for his work in the Netflix movie tick, tick.. BOOM!, about Spider-Man: No Way Home not being nominated for Best Picture at the 2022 Oscars, since he participates in it by recovering his Peter Parker from The Amazing Spider movies -Man.

“I can’t comment on that, in particular,” he stated. “I really love that movie and I really love Amy Pascal and Jon Watts and Kevin Feige and obviously Tom Holland and Zendaya and Jacob Batalon and Tobey Maguire and the whole cast.”

“That movie has been kind of a giant of proportions that I don’t think any of us really expected I can only speak for myself and I feel grateful to be a part of something that is keeping theaters alive right now, keeping the packed theaters and help with that and make sure the moviegoing experience stays intact,” he added.

“It’s very, very good to see audiences still deeply longing for what I know we all long for deeply. I think Spider-Man is obviously one of those movies right now and that’s great, and I’m very, very grateful to be a part of that,” the actor concluded.
