In it, the former congresswoman stated that Alejandro Char had given her 500 million pesos for her campaign for the Senate in 2018. The former mayor denied this and his defense announced lawsuits against the former congresswoman, who was sentenced to 15 years in prison for corruption of voters, escaped from prison and remains in Venezuela.

And Barguil affirmed that the “intervention of the Venezuelan government” is “intuited”, that “it is close” to the “candidate of the left” in Colombia.
