It is no secret that Battlefield 2042 has not been liked by fans of the saga. Users have expressed their dissatisfaction in many ways, such as criticism on Metacritic and comments directly on social networks to the developers of the game.
But the thing is not over. The latest news on the game has not been positive, with its first season pushed back to summer, and even its updates and patches experiencing delays.
For a group of fans it has been the straw that breaks the camel’s back and they have launched a petition on Change.org so that EA can return the game’s money on all platforms.
“EA’s release of Battlefield 2042 was a mockery of all the consumers who bought the game for 70 USD due to false advertising of the game. It has cost consumers millions of dollars in damages and angered hundreds of thousands of consumers around the world“.
They claim that the game was released in an unplayable state according to many user reports, and still today has bugs that drastically affect the experience, “so much so that we clearly consider it an unfinished game.”
They demand that EA offer users the possibility of recovering their money on all platforms, as has already happened on Steam (it is also on PlayStation and Xbox).
These are the best tablets for watching movies and series
If you usually watch series when traveling or in various parts of the house, these tablets can be good companions for entertainment consumption.
As of this writing they have about 12,000 signatures, but if they reach 50,000 or more signatures “one of the best class action attorneys in the country is willing to take our case against EA“. Facing possible legal actions in the future, they clarify that signing the petition is the equivalent of saying “I want my money back.”
“The gaming community should not tolerate this kind of abuse of multi-million dollar companies that make unfinished games and false advertising“.
Insider Tom Henderson delved into a video of the problems in the development of Battlefield 2042, developed in a very short time and clearly insufficient . In the last meeting with investors, EA acknowledged that the game had not lived up to expectations… despite the fact that EA wants to intensify the presence of the franchise.
