This is the new POCO F4 GT: MIUI 13, 4,560 mAh battery and Hi-Fi audio

The upcoming POCO F4 GT has been spotted in a lot of places preparing its certifications before launch: FCC, IMEI, EEC and TUV. All these certifications reveal that the phone will be launched with MIUI 13, the Xiaomi operating system that it uses together with POCO.

Among other filtered features, the POCO F4 GT will have a 4,560 mAh battery divided into two cells, which means that there is support for some type of fast charge, but it is not known if it will be 33 W or 120 W.

It will also have Compatibility with Hi-Res Audio. In the box we’ll get the phone, a charger, a USB-C cable, the SIM eject tool, a case, and a Type-C to 3.5mm audio adapter, so there’s no headphone jack on the device.

The model number of the POCO F4 GT is 21121210G, and if you were expecting this phone to be sold under another name somewhere, you were probably right. The G at the end stands for Global in Xiaomi language, while the C is for the Chinese market.

This means that since there is a 21121210C making the rounds in internet leaks, there is most likely another identical phone launching as the Redmi K50 Gaming.

That the same device is being sold under these two names is hardly surprising, considering the exact same thing happened last year, when the POCO F3 GT became known as the Redmi K40 Gaming in China. >

The certifications of the POCO F4 GT have not revealed any other details, but Redmi has already revealed that the K50 Gaming will come with Sony’s 64 Mpx IMX686 sensor for its main rear camera, while in the front part, within a centered notch, will house the 20 Mpx Sony IMX596.

Other confirmed features are an OLED FHD+ screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 480 Hz touch sampling and protection Gorilla Glass Victus at the top. There will be at least two color versions: silver and blue.

The K50 Gaming will be announced on February 16, so perhaps the presentation of the POCO F4 GT is not too far away, if we stick to the release history.
