Three members of a family were murdered in Angostura (Antioquia)

A new act of multiple homicide occurred in Antioquia. This Saturday, February 5, they reported the massacre of three people in Angostura, north of the department.

According to Indepaz, the incident took place in the village of San Alejandro, one hour from urban center of Angostura, where apparently armed men shot indiscriminately against the three people, all from one family.

Among the victims, there is a minor under the age of 17, reports the institute.

Until At the moment, neither the Antioquia Police, the Governor’s Office or the Seventh Division of the Army have ruled on the hypothesis of the triple homicide, which apparently would be related to a settling of accounts.

According to Indepaz, in 2021 the Ombudsman’s Office issued an early warning in a series of Antioquia municipalities, including Angostura, warning of “a weak institutional presence“.

In this area of ??northern Antioquia, the 36th Front of the dissidents, the Gaitanista Self-Defense Forces of Colombia (Agc), the ELN and local action groups commit crimes.

This, according to Indepaz, is the 17th massacre recorded in the country during 2022.
