The next Nintendo Direct has already been announced for this Wednesday 9 at 23:00 Spanish time. As usual, fans are excited about possible announcements that the Japanese company can give us. But we must be realistic about what we are going to see and what we are not.
Nintendo has confirmed that the information will be focused on the games that will arrive in the first half of 2022. Which doesn’t exclude them from talking about other things, but it won’t be the main focus of the Direct. During forty minutes of Nintendo Direct they will show us different games that will arrive on the Nintendo Switch before the end of June.
What games can we expect in this Nintendo Direct?
- Kirby and the Forgotten Land: With a release date of March 25, it meets the requirements to appear as one of the stars of the live show. It’s a perfect platform to convince gamers to pre-order the title.
- Advance Wars: Game that was pushed back to Spring 2022, so that we can expect a trailer that shows new information and even the release date.
- Splatoon 3: It does not have a specific release date, it is known which will come out this year. Based on information Nintendo gave us on other occasions, the game is quite advanced and it wouldn’t be unusual to see a release date.
- Triangle Strategy: Launching on March 4, it is sure to appear in the Nintendo Direct and news will be shown.
Besides these games that will almost certainly come out, we don’t have much else. My prediction is that they will spend more than 30 minutes with these four titles and some indies. But Nintendo has said “information focused on games that will arrive in the first half of 2022”, which does not exclude that they can focus on other topics. And what other themes?Fans dream of Silksong,BOTW 2, Odyssey 2, Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope and Bayonetta 3 among others. Nothing can be known about this, they are all listed for 2022 but nothing has been confirmed by the Big N. Hopefully they will show us some other titles that will be released at the end of 2022, but on which one?
