The adoption of Windows 11 is being quite fast compared to the original release of Windows 10, and this despite the fact that the operating system has been involved in various bugs such as pertinent performance ones that have apparently been solved in the last cumulative patch, and now there’s an addition in the works that you might be interested in.
And it is that Microsoft has been working on improving the tablet experience in Windows 11, and there is a novelty on the way in which they intend to improve the way in which you interact with the taskbar when this tablet mode is enabled.
Apparently an option called “auto-hide the taskbar when using your device as a tablet” is on the way, in a development that is presumably still in the early stages.
In addition to the discovery of this future functionality, Windows 11 is very close to receiving the first major update for users, throughout this month. This new update will include the much sought after feature that allows users to run apps built for Android directly on the desktop.
As Microsoft has previously explained, new experiences are expected in Windows including “new partnerships with Amazon and Intel, taskbar improvements with mute and unmute calls, easier window sharing, and bringing the weather to the taskbar, in addition to the introduction of two new redesigned applications: Notepad and Media Player”.
Some innovations aimed at sustainability are also expected, offering the user a greater set of actions aimed at better managing energy consumption and also raising awareness about device recycling.
