It’s been a few weeks since one of the biggest news stories in gaming history, if not the best, and things have calmed down a bit. However, there has always been that question of what will happen to many of the Activision Blizzard sagas that are now part of Xbox. That’s why I was so shocked to see that franchises like Crash Bandicoot or Spyro, that were born as PlayStation icons, are now literally Xbox. Well, what about Call of Duty?

PlayStation will have the next 3 Call of Duty on its consoles; then… we’ll see what happens
But, as you can see, there was talk that Call of Duty yes, would still come out on PlayStation… but only the next 3 games in the saga. That was according to some current agreements of the franchise with the Japanese company, so many have already begun to think that as of approximately 2024, this saga will no longer be released on PS4/PS5. However, that is something that was never confirmed, it just remained up in the air, and yesterday the doubt was finally clarified, as you have read in the headline.
The next Call of Duty, also on PlayStation
Well, one of the doubts was if Call of Duty was going to become exclusive to Xbox and say goodbye to PlayStation. However, yesterday Microsoft left a small statement on this subject on its official website that says the following (via Nibel):

- It is directly mentioned that Call of Duty will continue to be released on PlayStation even after the current agreements ?
- This is logical, I also tell you, since this saga made a real millionaire only on PlayStation ??
- It is important to note that they mention other popular Activision Blizzard games, so I interpret that they also it will be done with other sagas like Crash Bandicoot, Spyro and others ?
